This Hi I Am In This Amazing Band, We Are From South Jersey and Haven't Really Played Any Shows Besides My Dog's Birthday Party. How Do We Play One Of Your Shows ?
Wow ! You guys are amazing ? ..ya don't say..... How Do I Buy Tickets To Your Events ? I Just Called Ticketmaster And They Never Ever Heard Of The First Unitarian Church etc., They Laughed At Me And Now I Have Low Self Esteem.
We have no plans to deal with TicketMaster or any other sort of ticketing agency, we want to make things as
easy and direct for us as well as you. Plus we are punk rock, so we would never ever consider TicketMaster, even Pearl Jam
is against them. We offer two easy and available options for you. You can buy tickets in person at AKA Music.
They are our exclusive ticket counter which is open from 12pm to 10pm during the week, and 12pm to 12am on the weekends.
There is no surcharge and you get the tickets right then and there, no huss or fuss. AKA Music is located at 27 N Second Street, right
around 2nd and Market). They are very friendly and the nicest people on the strip. Plus
they also happen to have the best selection in town. Option #2 is using our brand new secure server to order tickets on-line.
Now you can do one more task without ever having to leave your house. I Heard That You Don't Pay Bands At All, That Your Venue Is Super Cheap To Rent Out, And That You Found A Pot Of Gold On The Corner Of 7th and South. Why Do You Charge $6/$7/$8 ??? I Bet You Are A Millionaire .This Is Punk Rock ! Shows Should Never Be More Than $5.00 !!!!!!! Everyone in a band should live in poverty so I dont have to pay an extra $2
Well okay, maybe its not that bad. But there has been countless hours wasted on arguing with people as to why shows are
$6, $7 or $8. Believe it or not, a lot of these bands get offers to play other clubs like The TLA, The Trocadero,
etc. To bring these bands to the various venues I have to stay competitive with these clubs that have other money making methods
like bars , taking percentages of merchandise, charging you lots of money for bottles of water etc. This means I have to pay bands more than the major clubs.
To do this we need to bring in more money. Hence an extra $1 to $3 from the standard $5.00 punk show. I dont know how many
major cities have The Promise Ring or Girls Against Boys playing a church basement or a warehouse in West Philly. Bands get paid really
really really well and it will stay like that (thats why they continue to choose to us for shows). Appreciate What You Have.
Its better than paying $12.00 at another club. Plus its 2001, shows were $5.00 Twenty One years ago. Wake up and smell the
coffee. Its called inflation. How Do I Get In Contact With You ? There are two possible ways.......
