DISINTEGRATION, formed in 2022, based out of Cleveland. Featuring members of Pleasure Leftists, Profligate and Cloud Nothings. Their sound is a mix of minimal synth, noise rock guitar and cold mechanical percussion with insistent soaring vocals on top. Guitar and bass parts are processed until they sound more like alien synth programming. Where shadowy dream sequences and slow-motion shatter collide, drawing a dark and futuristic sound that’s sometimes familiar, sometimes confounding, but always captivating. Their debut album SHIVER IN A WEAK LIGHT arrived early October 2024 on Feel-It Records.
