Hi! It’s almost time for our favorite show of the year. The one where 100% of the ticket and bar sales are donated and then MATCHED by Connor Barwin’s Make The World Better foundation.

You can directly impact some kid’s lives in a troubling area of Philadelphia by just attending this show, bringing a friend and ordering one beer each. That simple act will generate $100 for the cause. It’s really that simple! Tickets are only $20. Beers are $5. For two people, that’s $50 total. With MTWB matching every dollar, $100 goes directly towards building a new park in Philadelphia.

It’s pretty rare to take part in a show where your attendance makes a dramatic and immediate impact in Philadelphia. The previous two benefit shows have been wonderful evenings that were without a doubt the shows of the year. In addition they have raised just under half a million dollars. Such positive vibes!!!!

So grab a friend and bring them to see our Philly pals HOP ALONG and WAXAHATCHEE (plus a special guest that we can not announce) this Friday at Union Transfer. It’s a very good idea to buy tickets in advance as it almost certainly looks to sell out.

We hope to see you Friday

The MTWB foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of Philadelphia’s youth by providing safe and fun places for artistic and athletic development. Over the last two years, close to $500,000 has been raised for bothRalph Brooks Park and Smith Playground.

Every dollar from this year’s concert (both bar and ticket sales) will be matched by MTWB and donated to a project in Philadelphia which will be announced at the concert. Key project partners include Urban Roots, Philadelphia Parks and Recreation, Councilman Kenyatta Johnson and Philly Rising.
