Sandy Bell, a musician and singer-songwriter born in Cleveland, OH, found refuge in music amidst a challenging start in life. Her work transforms themes of despair and grief into cathartic sonic experiences, exploring themes of ancestral trauma, addiction, and a quest for solace. Bell’s first solo debut album, ‘When I Leave Ohio’ delves into the American psyche with a blend of poetic precision and cinematic psychological insight.
