Spike Hellis is Cortland and Lainey.
The Los Angeles-based electronic duo became fully formed on October 31st, 2019. Following the release of their first EP Crisis Talk in 2020, they self-released their debut full-length under their imprint Over-Pop in April 2022.
They’ve since toured relentlessly across North America, Europe, and Latin America with no end in sight.
They will be back on the road this fall in support of their upcoming album.

Nuxx is the electro project of musician and visual artist Madeline Seely, whose gritty, high-energy sound blends elements of EBM, 90’s techno, drum and bass, and digital hardcore. Nuxx began with the release of 2020’s A Different Place EP, and has continued with releases on NYC Label Synthicide—the FTEV EP and No Money single. Nuxx will be releasing her new EP Bird Brain on Synthicide, and a vinyl compilation with à La Carte Records on May 2nd, 2025. Known for her electrifying live performances, Seely has taken Nuxx on tours across North America, Europe, and Mexico. Her high-energy sets provide the audience with a raw, immersive experience. From the festival stage to the floor of a basement, Nuxx never fucks around.
