We have very two special nights ahead of us with two performers extending the party after their sets at Union Transfer.
Tonight (Wed Sept 18th) the much buzzed about electro/pop trio CHVRCHES are playing to a packed house at Union Transfer. We absolutely fell in love with this band a few months back and HIGHLY RECOMMEND you get on the bandwagon now. Super cool music and people. After the show all three members are going to head down to South Philly to The Dolphin Tavern to DJ an afterparty. Should be super fun! This marks the first time a famous band has DJ’ed in South Philly since 1973.
Tomorrow (Thu Sept 19th) we have WASHED OUT returning back to Union Transfer with a wonderful new album (really). After the show with his new new band, Ernest Greene will head over to Morgan’s Pier to DJ under the stars (where we can hopefully celebrate an Eagles win). Free entry to everyone who brings their ticketstub to the show ($5 else wise)
