DEAKIN

Deakin (Josh Dibb) is an artist, composer, mixer & producer. As a founding member of the seminal band Animal Collective, he has recorded the band’s studio albums ArkCampfire Songs, Feels, Strawberry Jam, CHz, Time Skiffs, Isn’t It Now?, and many EPS, live & visual albums. He released his debut solo album, Sleep Cycle in 2016 and has collaborated with a long list of artists. As a composer he has scored the films CrestoneThe Inspection (Premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival) and most recently OBEX (Premiered at Sundance). As a mixer & producer, he has produced records for Avey Tare, Tickley Feather, Herald, and most recently the critically acclaimed album Sinister Grift by Panda Bear. He resides in Baltimore where he is currently writing his next solo album.


BILL NACE

Bill Nace is an artist and musician based in Philadelphia, PA. He has collaborated with an extraordinary range of musicians, including Michael Morley, Graham Lambkin, Sakina Abdou, Twig Harper, Jooklo Duo, chik white, John Truscinski, Thurston Moore, Jake Meginsky, Jessica Rylan, Paul Flaherty, Wally Shoup, Aaron Dilloway, and Kim Gordon, with whom he regularly plays as one half of the duo Body/Head. His last solo LP Through a Room was released on Drag City Records

He has been a featured musician in festivals such as ATP (curated by Jim Jarmusch and held in Monticello, NY), Colour Out of Space(Brighton, UK), Supersonic Festival (Birmingham, UK), International Festival Musique Actuelle (Victoriaville, QC), and Homegrown (Boston, MA). He has performed in a wide variety of venues, running the gamut from the Musee d’Art Contemporain (Strasbourg, France) to The Stone (NYC) to Bennington College (Vermont). Nace’s range has been described as “veering from sculptural, almost Remko-Scha-esque chime to Loren Connors-style elegance in only a few short moves.” (Mimaroglu Music, 2010).

In addition to Drag City and Three Lobed, recordings can be found on Ecstatic Peace (Northampton, MA), Ultra Eczema (Belgium), Holidays (Italy), Throne Heap (VA), HP Cycle (Toronto, ON), as well as on Nace’s own label Open Mouth.


TARA MIDDLETON

Tara Middleton is a dynamic vocalist, violinist and lyricist. Her performances are shaped by honesty and a deep connection to the moment. She’s is the lead vocalist for the grammy nomiated Sun Ra Arkestra and makes new work with her cosmic duo Jupiter Blue a project rooted in sonic sound,and creative freedom. Her music draws from jazz, experimental traditions, and her own spiritual roots. Whether on violin or voice, Tara plays with purpose centered in truth and guided by instinct.
