voyeur are an art rock quartet from New York City, consisting of Sharleen Chidiac, Jake Lazovick, Max Freedberg, and Isaac Eiger. Chidiac’s performance and movement direction and Lazovick’s filmmaking with cult music video collective Powered by Wind have made them sought-after collaborators for Blood Orange, Marni, Frost Children, and The Dare, feeding directly into the band’s own unmistakable visual language. The rhythm section of drummer Max Freedberg (Porches) and producer/songwriter Isaac Eiger (Threshold) lays an unrelenting foundation beneath the band’s bursts of noise and feedback. Their recent full-length, 2025’s The Burden of Desire, was recorded at BC Studio in Gowanus with Martin Bisi, the veteran no-wave producer behind records by Sonic Youth, Swans, and John Zorn. After sharing stages with NYC breakouts like Chanel Beads and Fcukers, and a US run supporting Bar Italia, the band have built a steady reputation for whipping crowds into a frenzy with their live show. Now voyeur is set to hit the road supporting Kim Gordon in September.
