PLOW UNITED

Plow United’s classic album Goodnight Sellout! is celebrating its 30th birthday like a true slacker: by moving back in with its parents. Yes, that’s right, the cult classic second album from the 90s Delaware Valley punks is getting the deluxe reissue treatment from its original label, Creep Records.

Painstakingly remastered from the original 16-track tape by album’s original producer, Arik Victor, this 2XLP reissue also includes a stunning long-lost live set recorded shortly before Plow United’s breakup in 1997 and a full-color booklet insert of previously unpublished pictures, writing, and ephemera. The CD gives you all that and adds Goodnight Sellout! Revisited, a brand new mix of the album that gives the original a spit-shine while also unearthing some hidden mysteries from the sessions.

And of course it wouldn’t be a birthday without a birthday party. On September 19, Plow United will perform Goodnight Sellout! in its entirety at the First Unitarian Church in Philadelphia (site of their “last” show in 1997), with support from The Ergs!, Chris Gethard, and Crossed Keys.

THE ERGS!

The Ergs! are an American punk rock band formed in 2000 in South Amboy, NJ, by three high school friends: drummer/lead vocalist, Mikey Erg (Mike Yannich); guitarist/vocalist, Jeff Erg (Jeff Schroeck); and bassist, Joey Erg (Joe Keller). Through touring and recording, The Ergs! became recognized on a national and international level, touring and playing with such noted acts as The Bouncing Souls, Lifetime, Less Than Jake, Descendents, The Loved Ones, The Gaslight Anthem, Dillinger Four, None More Black, The Explosion, Municipal Waste, Lemuria, and more.

CHRIS GETHARD

Chris Gethard is a comedian, actor, and author who’s been doing comedy stuff for over twenty years. He’s the host of the Beautiful/Anonymous podcast, the former host of legendary public access television show “The Chris Gethard Show”, and had a special on HBO called Career Suicide where he talked about a few times he tried to kill himself. It was a comedy special.

He’s acted on shows like The Office, Broad City, Space Force, Parks and Recreation, and a bunch more. He’s been in some movies like Don’t Think Twice, The Heat, The Other Guys, and Ghostbusters.

But mostly, he’s a regular guy from New Jersey who likes traveling around and connecting with other human beings.

CROSSED KEYS

We know the last few years have been tough for everyone. It takes a little extra effort just to get out of bed. Recognizing that we’re all in this together, CROSSED KEYS BELIEVES IN YOU.

“I need an ounce of kindness, a little saving grace, a little more forgiveness,” sings vocalist Joshua Alvarez (Cinepunx, Halo of Snakes) on If You Don’t Love Yourself recalling the self-doubt we have all faced in growing old and major life changes. Crossed Keys is no exception. In the time since their last release, Alvarez, joined by drummer Dave Wagenschutz (Kid Dynamite, Good Riddance), bassist Andrew Wellbrock (Zolof the Rock & Roll Destroyer), and guitarists Beau Brendley (The Curse, Kill The Man Who Questions) and Dave Adoff (Step Ahead), channeled the loss and growth of the last three years into 10 cathartic anthems on BELIEVES IN YOU, the band’s debut full-length.
