ps goner is another musical project from Peter Sagar (aka HOMESHAKE), known for his singular blend of intimacy, atmosphere, and emotional precision. Across a constantly evolving catalogue, Sagar has followed instinct over expectation, shaping deeply personal music that resists easy categorization. His new album, there’s an atm inside, marks a clear departure into a different world; alternative country, trading hazy synths for steel guitars, piano and songcraft rooted in Americana – recorded entirely to cassette. Speaking on the lead single, Peter shares: “wind on the horizon is about what comes after the end. maybe you don’t belong here anymore, but you belong somewhere else, and now you’re free to find it.”
