ZILLAS ON ACID

Zillas on Acid is Thomas Roland and James Weissinger, DJs for the past 18 years at MAKING TIME, Philadelphia’s never-ending nightlife institution. Producing their own blend of psychedelic acid house for fave labels such as Optimo Music, Live at Robert Johnson, Ivan Smagghe’s Les Disques de la Mort, Running Back, Dischi, and more, the Zillas mix slow-motion death disco, dubbed-out drum machine music, and of course jacking ACID to excite party people from all planets. 2025 saw the debut of Zillas on Acid LIVE–a new full band incarnation featuring vocalist Ari Ratner and bassist Matt O’Hare (Waterworld Part 2) alongside Roland and Weissinger, bringing the druggy, chuggy Zillas sound to life as a full-on post-punk/acid house experience.

DPSD

DPSD is the audiovisual project of Danny Perez. Using his filmmaking background (ODDSAC, ANTIBIRTH) to create wild video projections that interact with beat-driven electronic music infused with broken guitar melodies.

Touring for years with Black Dice and Panda Bear creating their concert visuals, has informed Perez’s own music which combines robust beats with dissonant electronics and expansive synthesizer tones. Live performances feature Perez’s signature visuals set to an ominous but playful take on power electronics and psych rock.

QUAALS

Quaals is a band consisting of David Jack Daniels, Brent Bohan, and Jeff Zeigler, each bringing their own sensibilities to a project that is (un)equal parts post-punk, dub, shoegaze, and kraut-leaning drone.
