Hellos –
We wanted to give everyone the final heads up that we only have a few more VIP / MEET & GREET tickets left for this weekend’s stacked Make The World Better benefit with Mac Demarco, Parquet Courts, Marian Hill and The Suffers.MTWB is the charitable organization founded by Philadelphia Eagles all-pro Linebacker Connor Barwin, dedicated to enriching the lives of Philadelphia’s youth by providing safe and fun places for artistic and athletic development. Last year’s concert w/ Kurt Vile and The Districts raised over $185,000 for Ralph Brooks Park in Point Breeze. We’ve said it a bunch, but it was by far THE MOST positive show we have ever been a part of.

Unlike a lot of the other benefit concerts out there. 100% of the ticket and bar sales are donated to the cause which are then personally matched by Connor. So with each ticket purchased and every beer you drink, you literally make a difference in the live of some young Philadelphians.

This Saturday’s benefit looks to raise even more money and we have expanded the VIP area to Union Transfer’s back yard/parking lot. We have an hour and half premium open bar + meet and greet with Connnor and a bunch of his Eagles teammates. Renown Philadelphia Chef, Mark Vetri will be catering the event through his Alla Spinna restaurant. Once the meeting, greeting, and drinking are finished – we’ll usher you upstairs to enjoy the show in Union Transfer’s balcony which will be reserved just for VIP ticket holders that evening.

We only have 10 pairs of VIP tickets remaining ($300 a pair).  It’s crucial that we sell these remaining last few tickets as these last 10 pairs will raise $15,000 for the revitalization of Smith Playground in South Philadelphia. The renovation will include improvements to the Recreation Center building and adjacent play spaces, new football and baseball fields, and installation of Green Stormwater Infrastructure by the Philadelphia Water Department.

We realize that these tickets may not be affordable for everyone. But if you have the financial means, enjoy good music, like to have a few drinks and want to hang out with some of the nicest and most giving athletes this city has ever hosted – this is by far the best bang for your buck.

Tickets are available for purchase at the link above or at the Union Transfer Box Office and once again 100% of the ticket sale will be donated and then matched by Connor’s Make The World Better organization.

Hope to make a difference  with you this Saturday!
